Friday 17th August - Summer Evenings, About Cromer Carnival Week, Car Boot Sales, Cooling Off and Bats

BBC’s Country File is not a programme we watch but as this Monday’s programme was about Cromer and the surrounding area, we made of point of sitting down to view. I have no doubt it promoted Cromer as a place to visit but living in the area it did nothing for me. The majority of the presenters seemed to be on their own ego trip and I found Julia Bradbury particularly irritating. The final few minutes where a group of presenters with burgers in hand, danced something resembling an American hoedown to sea shanties just about summed it up! For anyone who missed the programme it can still be viewed for a few more days on the BBC website  Finally, why did the BBC get involved with the renovation of the Marrams sea shelter when it should have been maintained by our District Council, who should never have allowed the shelter to get into such a state in the first place!
