Tuesday 6th October 2015 - FAITH Annual Charity Walk, Ensuite and Change in the Weather

Pleasantly quiet for us over the past couple of days. On Sunday afternoon we took Barney to FAITH Animal Rescue’s centre at Hickling for their annual sponsored walk. Barney came from FAITH six years ago and since then we have been on every walk come rain or shine. This year the weather was perfect, warm hazy sunshine, so no real risk of any of the dogs taking part getting overheated or distressed. We were one of the first to set off and as a result when we returned had the pick of the cakes available from the refreshment area! The walk takes you along the edge of the broad before turning inland, passing Stubb Mill, into the village and then back down to the centre. As we needed to get back home we did not stop to look round, apart from the loose boxes, where these two inquisitive donkeys were straining their necks to get a better view of what was going on!
