There will be plenty to do in our back garden once the work started today is complete, so yesterday I decided to finish putting the front garden to bed for the winter. Always such a shame to consign flowering summer bedding plants to the compost bin but with winter pansies waiting to be planted and the work at the back to consider; yesterday I forked them out, tidied the borders and in went the pansies. Leaves are now swirling round and rolling up and down our lane as the breezes blow them back and forth. With so many trees in Overstrand; the job of sweeping and raking each autumn feels like a never ending job.
