Overstrand Life - Janet's Diaries

I did not have time to put fingers to keyboard on Friday, to produce my latest diary entry. My excuse; the weather over the past few days has been truly wonderful for early September and we have been determined to make the most of it.

Earlier in the year we had planned to drive to Horsey Mere and take a boat trip to see the local wildlife. Unfortunately the weather curtailed this but with blue skies forecast all day Wednesday we set off in the morning with Barney. In fact the weather was overcast but this did not hamper our enjoyment of the trip on the Lady Ann which belongs to wildlife expert and skipper, Ross. We were in time for the first trip at 10.30 a.m. and set off with Barney (well behaved dogs are allowed on board) plus six other passengers and a baby in arms. Ross
